This will be a series of four articles. The intent is to present you with analysis of the fundamental predicaments for running pentesting programs (this article), and recommendations how to manage and reduce them (Process and Governance, Technology, People).

But before I go any further, I must confess on what I am not going to do – I am not going to get technical. I am not going to mention products, AI, Machine Learning, Zero Trust, Quantum Computing or Next Generation <anything>.
